The popularity of Topokki is solid.
According to the Fair Trade Commission’s franchise business transaction information disclosure, 126 franchise businesses (brands) are registered under the category of “Topokki” apart from the popular menus such as fried chicken and pizza.
In the past, jjajangmyeon, pizza, and fried chicken were the representative delivery food.
Note that, topokki has now become the representative delivery food and a popular search word.
Topokki is becoming highly popular overseas as well.
Several franchise businesses are increasing their franchise stores in Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines based on the popularity of the Korean Wave and YouTube.
The export amount for processed rice foods also doubled to $169.8 million last year compared to 2015.
Of these, topokki is showing the strongest growth trend.
